On October 22, 2024, the Adventist Church in Kursk, Russia, once again became a place where people forced to leave their homes could receive humanitarian aid. This time it was food and clothing. Approximately 150 food packages and dozens of kilograms of clothing were distributed.

As cold weather sets in, warm clothing has become particularly sought after. Many people left their homes during the hot summer months with whatever they could grab. Those in need were open to communicating and sharing their struggles and experiences. The church not only provides physical sustenance but also offers spiritual nourishment, prompting people to take spiritual literature to read in their spare time. They express sincere gratitude for the kindness shown by Adventists and their involvement in their lives. While many long to return to their homes, they are aware of the challenges ahead. They are thankful to God for those who are able to meet at least some of their needs.
